I am really bothered about these situation,I don't know if am the only one facing these,but when ever someone asked me out and we started talking, when he asked me were am from the moment I say Niger State he will start giving new attitude and becomes distance 😠why, mostly, Kano, kaduna and other arewa state.

perhaps you've not met the right one yet. I have a very close friend of mine his wish is to marry a Nupe girl. I've heard a couple of people say nice things about Nupe girls. i don't know if they only say that to my face cos I'm just mentioning to them I'm Nupe too. cos most don't know I'm Nupe unless I say it.

Yes, most Nupe people only marry Nupe people although I'm not saying it's the best thing but I feel it is of advantage many atimes because I'm Nupe too and preferably I will opt for a Nupe guy if possible 🤷, you know no matter how hard we try to deny it, you do not want to go into a marriage where one can hardly speak their language, not used to their ways of life, cultures and traditions, and maybe wen they have a particular belief abt ur tribe etc. you will see that you wouldn't be fully accepted but you see with your tribal person there's always this sense of belonging 🤷, ofcourse I'm not saying it's a bad thing but sincerely wats working for an individual may not jst work for another
