If you're referring to Quran 24:26, it has different interpretation, none of which you mentioned.....Briefly and in this context Allah is commanding/advising that good men should seek for good women and vice versa....and if you further go through the Qur'an, you'll see the story of Lut's (A.S) wife and the story of Fir'awn's wife.....I hope that clarifies it for you, you can read more, Allah know's the best
