Gaskia yakamata iyaye su daina saka pressure akan 'ya'ya mata kan maganan aure,I mean aure lokaci ne idan lokacin ka baiyi ba wallahi ko sama da kasa zasu hade bazakayi ba but our parents don't understand this suna ga Kaman mun tsaya zabe ne bayan kuma ba haka bane. Marriage that happens due to pressure doesn't last long, how can we make our parents understand this?

I am married and i also feel this part of our culture that pushes women to marriage is wrong. i was under the same circumstance. i did not rush but i didn't take my time either and Alhamdullilah i am okay with my husband. i know some of my mates that married quickly due to pressure from parents and now that are divorced some even have children so sad. the problem is rooted from culture down to the mentality of our parent's generation. In order for parents to understand this they need to be enlightened of the pros and cons of this act and how their daughter is at disadvantage if things go wrong.

You know in our society elders are always right, so if a younger person tries to enlighten them about this, only few will listen and digest also culture plays a huge role in it. I am a graduate not married yet im working on my career and marriage is not in my plans for now i have already informed my parents when they started asking me wai yaushe zan je dakin miji. abun is so annoying
